Webscorer PRO 4.8 adds a new option to send an email to each racer within seconds of finishing the race.
STEP TO CONFIGURE AUTOMATIC RESULTS EMAIL
1. Add the email address for each racer
- If you’re using Webscorer online registration, the email is included automatically
- If you’re posting a start list, include the email address under column header “Email”
- If you’re creating the start list on the app, add the email via the “Racer Info” panel
2. Turn on LIVE results
- Navigate to the “Race Start” panel
- Set “Live results = On”
- Select “Send email to participants when they finish the race = On”
- Select the language for the message
Notes:
Each racer will receive an email shown in the attached screenshot within 10-15 seconds of finishing the race.
In a race with laps, the email will be sent when the racer completes their last lap
In a race with time-limited laps, the email will be sent when the race is finished via “Race control”, or the racer is marked as “Finished” via "Lap control" / "Finish racer".
Note that placings are not provided as many races use individual, interval or wave start and thus the rankings may change until all racers have finished. The racer can click on the results link to get the latest status.
You can add notes to the results email in two ways:
1. Type in the notes on the app
- Use this option for race-specific notes
- Text only, no formatting allowed
2. Use an option in "Organizer settings" on the website
- Use this option for all your races
- Allows some formatting such as bolding, links to images etc.
