TTB_Take The Lake Relay_L.A. Fall 2023

TTB joined the Silver Lake Track Club for their annual Classic 2M Race to debut the Take The Lake Relay! Two runners, one mile(ish) each, circiling the Silver Lake Reservoir. A total of twenty-one teams took on the challenge for what we hope becomes a yearly tradition. 

100% of the proceeds benefited the Silver Lake Reservoirs Conservancy and SLTC's 501(c)3 with a mission to provide new running shoes for marginalized youth runners in Los Angeles.

Overal Winners

Andrew and Mathew took the top spot in the Men's Division with Courtney and Madden close behind to secure the top spot in the Women's Division. In the Co-Ed Division, Team Duff (Brain and Michelle) broke the tape for the win.

Special Notes

Given the unique format of this race, for the first time ever, we had two young athletes running with a parent! A tip of the hat and kudos to Elsa and Jonah ... our next generation of TTB runners!
