The Island Charity Swim and the Mooloolaba Charity Swim are major fundraisers for the amazing and inspirational children at the Nambour, Currimundi and Palmview Special schools.
Each have their own challenges, not only for a very worthy cause but completion guarantees your inclusion in swimming folklore, an exclusive club reserved for those who meet the sponsorship requirements and complete a fabulous solo or team swim.
The Island Charity Swim is a solo swim and a test of endurance for the participants, a 10km open water ocean swim from Mudjimba Beach around Mudjimba Island (Old Woman Island) to Mooloolaba Beach. Please note this is an open ocean event with a course that takes swimmers approximately two kilometres off shore. It is essential that all swimmers have properly prepared themselves for the event with the appropriate training.

Transfers to another personare available within a team but you cannot transfer to another person if you are entered in an individual swim. You must email info@myatlasevents.com.au if you wish to make a team member transfer to seek prior approval.

The Mooloolaba Charity Swim is a variety of solo and team swims (10km, 5km and 2.5km) off the Mooloolaba Beach.
Minimum age for an individual 10km participant is 18 years.
Minimum age for an individual 5km participant is 16 years.
Minimum age for an individual 2.5km participant is 14 years.
Minimum age for a team participant swimming a 2.5km leg is 14 years.
Minimum age for a team participant swimming a 5km is leg is16 years.
