The Ovid Strawberry Festival 5K

The Ovid Strawberry Festival 5K aka "The Berry Fun Run" is back!  Sponsored by STEPS (Seneca Towns Engaging People for Solutions) the race is a small community event that starts and finishes at the Ovid Fire Hall in the Village of Ovid.  An easy out and back course along the back roads of the Village of Ovid. The race starts at 8 am and bibs can be picked up starting at 7:00am that same morning.  There will be water and Gatorade at the race and post-race refreshments.  Join us for a fun morning, followed by the parade and super-fun activities for the whole family.  The race entry fee is $25 with youths 12 and younger free as long as they are accompanied by a registered adult participant on the course.  

All participants will receive a finisher's medal and Strawberry-shaped cookie.  Prizes will be given to the top male and female in each age group:  0-9, 10-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+.

Parking:  on the streets and in the parking lot behind the Finger Lakes Community Health Center, next to the park that is beside the Fire Hall.  Please do not park on the Fire Hall side.

Walk or Run, bring the family and join up with friends and then stay for the Festival.
