The Kayak Krazy 10km Winter series is made up club-run paddling races around New Zealand to keep all paddlers active and connected over the winter months.
Race #8 of the 2023 series will be held at Otaki in Kapiti, proudly hosted by the Mana Kayak Club. Racing will be held on "Winstones" lake, Otaki, east of the Otaki River bridge.
Open to K1, K2/doubleskis and multicraft boats (skis, multisport boats, sea kayaks, recreational craft).
This one is going to be a little different with the 10k broken down into 4 separate races as follows: (multisport/skis optional portage).

Divided by male/female and craft, under the following age groups:
- 12&Under
- 14&U
- 16&U
- 18&U
- Open
- Masters
Masters age groups will be broken up, depending on sufficient numbers in each category.
Race Day Schedule:
10am- Paddler Registration
10.30am- Racing starts
Prizegiving will be held as soon as possible following racing
