RACE INFORMATION:

Teacup Lake Nordic Club and The Mountain Shop of Portland welcome ALL LEVELS of racers to join us for this annual classic-technique race held on the beautiful trails around Teacup Lake in the Mount Hood National Forest. This year’s races will start with a mass start again. As in recent years, the 15k course will feature a 10k loop followed by a 5k loop. The 5k course will be the same as the second lap of the 15k. The start will be approximately 150 meters from the cabin, and the finish (and the lap for the 15k) will be at the cabin. Also, as usual, there will be fun 2k races for kids up to 13 years old. We moved the time later this year to give those traveling a further distance time to more easily make the race, and to allow for any traffic issues. Parking is limited on race days, so plan accordingly and consider carpooling. THERE WILL BE NO DAY OF RACE REGISTRATION THIS YEAR, so please register by January 19, 2018.

Race Fees:

$40 for adults (ages 20 and older)
$20 for kids (ages 19 and under)

Race Distances:

2k - open to kids up to age 13 (i.e., U14)
5k - open to all ages (recommended that kids who are under 14 register for the kid's race unless they are advanced skiers)
15k - open to ages 15 and up (i.e., U16 and older)
