I accept that I participate in the “Mavora Explorer Events’ entirely at my own risk. I agree to accept
responsibility and/or liability for any damage I may do to myself, fellow competitors, and/or third parties,
equipment, and possessions. I waive all and any liability or claim against the organisers, sponsors, landowners,
officials, and assistants in connection with the event. I indemnify the organisers, sponsors, landowners, officials,
and assistants against any claim arising from my actions or inactions.
Under no circumstances will the Organising Group, its sponsors, or any party associated with the event
including their employees or agents, have any responsibility or be liable in contract, tort, or otherwise, to
compensate any competitor or any other party that is directly or indirectly associated with that competitor, for
any loss, (including financial loss), injury, damage or death arising directly or indirectly from:
(a) their intended or actual participation in the event and its related activities;
(b) any act, omission, error, or delay (whether negligent or otherwise) of the Organising Group, sponsors or any
party associated with the event or its employees or agents.
Competitors authorise their name, voice or picture, or any information given on their entry to be used without
payment in any broadcast, telecast, advertising, promotion, social media, or in any other way relating to this
event pursuant to the Privacy Act 1993. Competitors agree to abide by the rules of the race and to allow the
sponsors to use photographs taken during the event to advertise their products or to promote the event, at no
cost to the sponsors. |
