Event notes

The ILT New Year Track Carnival will take place from Thursday 16 January to Friday 17 January at the ILT Invercargill Velodrome. Racing will start at 6pm on Thursday and Friday evening.

All participating riders need to hold a valid Cycling New Zealand racing licence.

The entry fee is $40 per day, which includes entry to all events in a rider's category. However, riding all events is not compulsory, and a rider can scratch from events if required. The entry fee remains the same though.

Racing will take place in categories for riders Junior Novice Grade, U13, U15, and U17 age groups, while riders in the Open category (U19, Elite, Masters) have to select which grade they wish to race in - A, B, or C. There is an Open Womens Grade available (subject to entries).
Please note that the organisers reserve the right to adjust the grade in which a rider will race in order to promote fair and competitive racing - this may occur prior to the start of the event, or during the course of the event if required. $40 per day, or $70 for both days. The event is open to licensed riders from other clubs and centres.
