There's no better way to celebrate 9 years of Take the Bridge than by throwing a block party in The Bronx! And when you throw a block party, you have to partner with the Boogie Down Bronx Runners! From cheer stations to water stations (yes, we had a water station!) and the electric energy at the start and finish, we're still riding the waves.
TTB took over 231st Street and Albany Crescent for an out and back race that took 85 runners down Broadway through Inwood and Washington Heights before taking on the GWB (and just dipping thier toes in New Jersey).
A HUGE thank you to Lenin for his tremendous and generous support and to all of our friends at BDBR!
Special thanks to our friends at Men's Journal, 5-hour Energy and The Bronx Public.
And finally ... We had an incredible group of volunteers for this one and we couldn't have done it without you! Your time and energy was greatly appreciated! You exemplify what our community it all about!
Top Finishers
Lindsey Nelson never looked back in the Women's Division, taking both the Prime and the Top Spot!
Kyle Price put down a blistering pace in the Men's Division breaking the tape and grabbing the Prime on the GWB.
