A good turnout of 19. Faster than last week with plenty of action but no break until 7 laps to go, when Peter Stevenson (Experience Cycle), Justin Mark (steed Cycles), Tom Skinner (Victoria Wheelers) and Iain Hay (Vipyrs/MIVA) went clear and by the end of the race had gained 35 seconds. Tom won the gallop handily from Peter, with Justin just edging Iain for 3rd.
The bunch sprint for 5th. Was easily taken by Ron Hewitson (MIVA) with John Lam beating Janna Gillick for 6th. in a photo finish.
Lots of volunteers tonight, including couple who usually race.Thanks to all.
