For those unfamiliar - a handicap event is where time penalties are added to the fastest runners based on results so far this season.

In an ‘open handicap’ every one knows their time penalty with the slowest ranked runners starting first and then everyone else is allocated a starting time through to the fastest runner starting last.  The first person over the line wins.

In a 'closed handicap' is where everyone starts together and the handicap is added to the fastest runners times after the event. The slowest 6.0km runner will start at 2.00pm and from there everyone will have different start times over your choosen distance.

This Saturday is a 'closed handicap' event.

Ankle timing chips can be picked up from 1.30 pm at the event.

Stay after your race for Chocolate spot prizes after everyone has finished under the club gazebo there will be the opportunity to purchase singlets, t-shirts and hoodies.
