HORNS HELL

Saturday, May 10, 2025

Welcome to the hardest mountain bike race in Ohio. This course was designed to break your spirit, and mile-for-mile we don’t think you’ll find anything packed with more challenging moments and smile-inducing features. How many laps can you finish? If you have the skills to survive the ripping fast descents, rock gardens & tabletops, you’ll be forced to climb some soul-crushing ascents with multiple hike-a-bikes. Plus, the clock is always running, so don’t take too long catching your breath. Can you survive this Hell?

NEW FORMAT!!!

For 2025, Horns Hell is a MASS START 3-HOUR RACE. Whoever can do the most laps in under 3 hours wins. Any lap that is finished after the deadline will not count. This means that the average racer will be riding for about 2.5 hours on this relentless course. The race will start at the bottom of the road climb at 9am. The climb will help separate the pack and racers will follow the road to the playground at the back of the park before taking a sharp right on to Mom Van. At the end of Mom Van, they will cross the start/finish line and begin lap 1. Race ends at noon with podiums and a beer garden. Plus, a free shuttle for everyone from 12-4pm, just in case you want to get a few more downhill runs in.

The shuttle is free for everyone that day and open to non-racers as well.

THE GOOD CAUSE

Profits from this event will be donated to Central Ohio Mountain Bike Organization & benefit the trails at Horns Hill Park. Spread the word because more registrations equal more money to build awesome trails.  Race proceeds will also fund the post-race shuttle.

HORNS HILL PARK - Newark, Ohio

Horns Hill is the premiere downhill and enduro destination in Ohio. It has a vertical drop of 250 ft on the front side of the hill with challenging descents that range from fast & flowy to rough & technical. The park contains tabletops, gap jumps, kickers, drops, rock gardens & steep descents that will challenge most riders. Beginners can enjoy riding green trails like Greenhorn, Upper Jurassic & Playground Loop. You can learn more about the park on Facebook or Instagram @hornshillmtb or at combomtb.com. You can navigate the park using the MTBProject app for pre-rides.
