The inaugural Athletics Manawatu Wanganui awards evening will be held at St Johns Church, Camden St, Feilding at 6pm on Sunday 13 April.

 

We extend an invitation to all AMW athletes, officials and supporters to share the evening with us.

 

There will be awards across the whole spectrum from Track & Field, to non-stadia (cross country and road) and Officials. Clubs should have received details of how to nominate someone for an award.

 

Guest speaker for the awards evening is double Olympian Lucy Oliver (nee van Dalen), who developed her athletics career at Whanganui before embarking on a scholarship to the United States.
