It is time to sign up for the 2025 JJ McDermott Long John Jaunt! This year, we are offering three distances for runners: 10k, 15k, and half-marathon. We are also hosting the inaugural Peter Bauer 5 km Pole Walk for those who want to grab a pair of trekking poles and go for a jaunt.
All races will begin at 11 AM on Saturday, February 22. The storm date for the race is February 23.
Runners will receive a long-sleeve tech shirt, so select your size when registering (unisex).
Walkers will receive a tote bag.
Prices:
Early bird prices are in effect until January 31, after which the running race prices increase by $10
10 km $45/55
15 km $55/65
Half-marathon $65/75
5KM Pole Walk $25 (price does not increase)

The race begins at Boularderie Elementary school and the school building can be used for changing, warming up, etc. The race route for each distance is an out-and-back on Kempt Head Road from the school.
As usual, please join us for a meal at Boularderie School after the race. We’ll be having chili (vegetarian and meat), biscuits, and brownies.
