Individual start biathlon race. (course length subject to change based on snow conditions)
10K - U19 - Adult Males, PPSS, 150 M penalty lap
7.5K - U19 - Adult Female, PPSS, 150 M penalty lap
5K - U15 with cuff, Male and Female, PPPP (shoot twice from prone on prone targets and twice from prone on standing targets) 75 M penalty lap
4K -U13, Male and Female, with cuff, PPPP (shooting on standing targets) Male and Female, 75 M penalty lap
4K - U13, Male and Female, on shooting blocks, PPPP (shooting on standing targets) Male and Female, 75 M penalty loop
2k - Novice, PP on standing targets, shooting on blocks, Male and Female, limit 9 racers.
P = Prone shooting, S = Standing Shooting
$20 for Youth through age 18
$25 Adults 19 and older.
A "Competitor" level annual USBA membership or USBA "Member for a Day" is required for every racer to cover race liability and insurance.
WI Biathlon and Blackhawk Biathlon welcome the participation of Adaptive Athletes. Please sign up in the category appropriate to your age. For questions contact Joe (jrenehamel@gmail.com) via email prior to race day.
Note: There will be NO same day registration. Payment due at registration on race day.
This is an OPEN race for USBA "Basic Rifle Safety" certified ( Both online and in person parts) biathletes and youth in a USBA biathlon program. U15 and U13 biathletes will not carry a rifle. Competitive U15 biathletes are encouraged to race in the U19 age group.
Important:
Bring exact cash or check for payment payable to to Blackhawk Ski Club. Parent must accept waiver for minors.
If you require a USBA "Membership for a Day" for this event, please purchase online with USBA (www.usbiathlon.org/membership) prior to the the race. If you show up on race day without a membership you will not be allowed to race.

11:00 am 5K & 4K U15, U13 race start
