Red River Paddle Challenge 2025

The Red River Paddle Challenge is a 44 kilometer (~27 miles) long distance paddling race on the Red River beginning in Winnipeg, Manitoba and ending down river in Lockport, Manitoba. We welcome all types of paddling craft, including kayaks, canoes, stand up paddleboards, outrigger canoes, dragon boats, rowing boats or other craft. Basically our motto is if you can paddle it you can race it! If you don’t see your preferred boat/board class listed here, please contact us. All participants are required to be familiar with the Event Rules. Any questions, please ask. If you are signing up in either the Tandem or Team category:

Please enter a Team name. If you do not see your team name in the current list, select Other and then enter your team name. Be creative and have fun with your team name. Team names are used to determine who is paddling with who for tandem boats. Solo paddlers don't need to provide a team name. Each paddler in a tandem boat or team boat must register and pay for their entry separately.

All registration fees collected are used exclusively to cover the costs associated with organizing and hosting this event. This helps ensure a safe, successful and enjoyable experience for all attendees.
