Wagga Bidgee Canoe Club is happy to be hosting the first round of the PaddleNSW 2025 Marathon Series in partnership with Tango Charlie Lights, which kicks off on Saturday 1 February - offering one-way, down river courses for all Divisions.
Early bird entries close midnight Monday 27 Jan, all entries close midnight Wednesday 29 Jan 2025. No entries on the day.
Purchase a Race Pass and save on entry fees - 6, 5 and 4 Race Passes are available now via WebScorer, offering an extra saving of $6, $5 and $4 per race. Race passes are not transferable nor refundable.
After purchasing a Race Pass you need to enter your chosen event(s). To do this, sign back into your WebScorer account and choose the event you wish to enter from the drop-down menu. Then pay using your prepurchased Race Pass.
Paddlers can check their Race Pass purchase history on the "My Racer" profile page.
Paddlers who have not registered for specific events and are not part of the start list are unable to enter the event on the day (even though they prepurchased a Race Pass).
Divisions 1-7 will race from Oura Beach, Oura, to Wagga Beach (26 Km all downstream)
Divisions 8-12 will race from Braehour Reserve, Braehour Road, Forest Hill, to Wagga Beach (17 Km all downstream) Division 13 will race from Eunony Bridge Reserve, Wagga, to Wagga Beach (7.5 Km all downstream)
Please read the Competitor Information sheet attached to your Entry Confirmation Email for full course details, start and finish line directions, etc.
Division 6 & 7 will start at 10:30am
Start times for all other Divisions will be determined once entries close, and will be advised in the Start List email (sent just prior to the weekend)and at the Briefings on Saturday morning.
Members of PA affiliated Clubs will need their PA Membership Number for entry.

Paddlers entering their first Marathon Series race, or who haven't paddled in the last three years, should enter a "Ranking" Division, commensurate with their perceived abilities.
Each Division has an indicative time for completion.
New Doubles pairings must also enter a "Ranking" division.
ALL paddlers must complete the event registration.
There will be a mini bus at Wagga Beach for paddlers requiring transport back to the 3 start locations.
The shuttle bus will leave Wagga Beach every hour at 12:45pm, 1:45pm, 2:45pm and 3:45pm (if required).
You must pre-book the shuttle bus.
Please join us with families & friends from 5:30pm on Saturday at the Palm and Pawn Hotel, 68 Hampden Ave, North Wagga Wagga for drinks and dinner.
The Bidgee Dash, on Sunday, will be a 3 x 2km Criterium Race Format at Wagga Beach, commencing at 9am for those looking to make a weekend of it and who are up for some fun, before heading home.
Life Jackets are mandatory for all paddlers on Saturday and Sunday
