Event notes

Get ready for the ultimate mountain biking adventure at the Paradise Royale MTB Race! Held on California’s stunning Lost Coast, this race features a thrilling 12.2-mile course with a 2,043-foot elevation gain, breathtaking ocean views, and two crossings of Bear Creek. Categories include Elite, Sport, and Youth for both male and female riders, with Elite riders tackling a challenging two-lap course. There will be a 90-minute lap cut-off for the long course, ensuring that only the best make it to the finish.

This race is more than just a competition—it's about community. We’re proud to partner with the Mountain Bike Tribal Trail Alliance (MBTTA), a veteran-led group dedicated to sharing mountain biking and recreational opportunities with our community. MBTTA operates as a program of HSC, in partnership with Two Feathers Native American Family Services and the Warrior Institute. Two Feathers empowers Native youth and their families through culturally-affirming programs, while the Warrior Institute promotes healthy lifestyles and cultural pride. Together with other community partners, they’re making this event a true celebration of resilience and culture.

Your entry fee includes race day shuttles, a swag bag, and two drink tickets for the post-race awards ceremony at Gyppo Ale Mill, California’s most remote brewery. You can also add a race T-shirt, hat, and meal ticket for Gyppo Ale Mill to your registration. The menu will be announced closer to the event date, so stay tuned!

Mark your calendars—no refunds will be available after September 24, 2024, and refunds before this date will incur a $50 fee. Race entry transfers are allowed until October 15th, 2024, with participants managing their own exchanges. You can also change your group or category until October 18th, 2024, by emailing info@visitlostcoast.org. Don’t forget to check the race webpage for updates, including free camping information, spectator maps, and more.

This is a unique opportunity to race in one of California’s most coveted and pristine locations, combining the thrill of competition with the unparalleled beauty of the Lost Coast. Join us and be part of history as we ride together in the inaugural Paradise Royale MTB Race. We can’t wait to see you at the starting line!
