Bridges 2024-INNY 5 km Small Boat Race

The Bridges Inny/Outty races are two small boat races held one after the other that start at the Latitude 48 docks located in the marina at the end of Herald Street behind Value Village. This event is BYOB (that's right Bring Your Own Boat as they are not provided for the small boat event).  All racers need to have a 2024 Canadian Outrigger Racing Association Membership https://www.canadianoutrigger.ca/store/renew-your-membership/#single

For Single day membership chose Bridges -Small boat as your event.

THE INNYis a 5 km race in protected waters ideal for new racers, marathon canoes and even experience paddlers that want a shorter "sprint" distance. The race goes up the gorge waterway, with a turn just before Tillicum narrows to head back to the start/finish line. Registration/Check-in Opens at 8:30 a.m. Pre-race safety meeting 9:00am, Race Start 9:30am.

THE OUTTYis a 12 km race that heads out of the Victoria harbour to run along the island's coast. There may be course modifications on race day should conditions be too big for most. Registration/Check-in Opens at 8:30 a.m. Pre-race safety meeting 10:30 am. Race Start 11:00 am

Awards will be held after each race.
