XC Series 2023 - Round 1

UPDATED - Due to the likely timing of the Rugby World Cup Final (lol) we are changing the date of Round 1 of the Cross Country series. It will be on Saturday the 28th of October instead of Sunday. 09:00 registration, 10:00 start, meet at Sunday Hole/Waahi Taakaro reserve in the Maitai Valley.

Welcome to Round 1 of the 2023 Cross Country Series. This is the first race in a series of three, set in Codgers Mountain Bike Park.  This week brings you an exciting course.  Start Waahi Taakaro reserve, up the Koata Whenua climbing track from Maitai. Left to Take me to your Leader.  Course goes up to the top of Smasher, then down Smasher (top only) and across to Divas (top only) to the road.  Finishing with a ride up the road before dropping down Hotbox.What an epic Cross Country lap! 

PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS IS A DRY TRAIL COURSE ONLY.  IF TRAIL CONDITIONS ARE WET THIS WEEKS COURSE WILL BE SWAPPED WITH WEEK 2.
