DESCRIPTION MTB trail rides
These trails are predominantly on farm tracks. Although they are farm tracks, there are some climbs and downhill sections. These sections can be walked if you feel it is beyond your
capabilities. You will need to be self sufficient with enough water and food for the ride you are undertaking. It's expected that your bike will be up to a standard that can complete the
ride you have chosen. These trails can be ridden on Ebikes but we do recommend full suspension Ebikes

Kids Guided Trail BIKE
Our wonderful trust member Colleen Morton and helpers will take the kids on a friendly guided trail ride, trail will be decided on the day depending on kids' abilities.

10km Waikaia Forest Trail Kids MTB/Walk
A leisurely trail through Waikaia Forest where our future trails will be built.

30km Argyle Station Ridge Line MTB/EBIKE/RUN (800m Total climbing )
Up, along and down the Beautiful Argyle Station ridgeline and down back to Waikaia via Block Road.

40km Argyle Station Ridge Line + Glenaray Station MTB/EBIKE/RUN (1000m total climbing)
Up, along and down the Beautiful Argyle Station ridgeline after Argyle Station you can add in 10 more km around the lower slopes of Glenaray Station back to Waikaia via Waikaia Forest.

60km Awatere Airstrip MTB/EBIKE/RUN (1500m Total climbing)
Up to Awatere Station’s airstrip for a look around then up, along and down the Beautiful Argyle Station ridgeline, after Argyle Station you can add in 10 more km around the lower slopes of Glenaray Station back to Waikaia via Waikaia Forest.

60km Gravel Ride GRAVEL BIKE/MTB/EBIKE (800m Total climbing)
80% gravel road ride loop incorporating stunning farmland in Otama Valley, Wendon Valley, back to Waikaia on Winding Creek Road. Approx 800m climbing Self Guided
