Race Start: 8:30a Drivers Meeting and 9am Start

Classes

  • Motor ATV 4.5 mile - 8 dog max, neckline required
  • Motor ATV 2.5 mile - 4 dog max., neckline required
  • Cani-cross 2.5 mile - Walk/Hike/Run. 2 dogs max
  • Bikejor 2.5 mile - 2 dog max., must use neckline
  • Scooter 2.5 mile - 4 dog max., must use neckline
  • Juniors - TBD

No Camping on site!

** Dogs must be on leash at all times

Pot Luck!

We will be having a potluck again this year following Saturday's race after clean up. Please bring a side dish or dessert to share.

Race Location: Fairplay/Hartsel, CO

Directions 3750 Rogers Dr. Hartsel, CO 8044 (Please follow directions. GPS takes you elsewhere)

From Fairplay: Take 285 South out of Fairplay, go about 9 miles; turn left onto CR 24 (not HWY 24) take 1st right on Rogers. Rogers will curve left, continue, then Rogers will make another hard right, continue. Rogers will make a hard left and you will pass Bare Trail, continue on Rogers until you see a gate on your left hand side. The gate says Stormy Peaks Ranch. Come in the gate. There are sled dog race directional signs that will guide you in. Estimated 2 miles off 285.

by the rules governing this race. I further acknowledge that the Race Marshall has the final decision and agree to abide by his/her decisions. I agree not to hold Colorado Mountain Mushers or its officers, the Race Giving Organization or its agents, veterinarians, sponsors, or property owners liable for any injury or accident, which may occur during this event. I further agree, that in event of a cancellation, Colorado Mountain Mushers, its officers, the Race Giving Organization or its agents, sponsors, or property owners will not be responsible for any expenses incurred as a result of the cancellation other than the refund of the entry fees. I further attest that my dogs are in good health, have received all vaccinations required by state law, and are physically prepared for this event. I will be solely responsible for the conduct and safety of my dogs and handlers. In addition Due to livestock on property, all dogs must be tethered at all times.
