Rocky Road Adventures is so excited to bring you all a Backyard Ultra right here in rural Nevada. Participants will run a 4.1667 mile loop every hour until only one person is standing. You have one hour to finish the loop once it has started. If you finish a loop within the hour, you may start the next hour’s loop provided you are in the start corral when the next hour starts. If you do not finish within the hour, you are out of the race and considered a DNF.

- Participation in the race.
- Parking for a single vehicle throughout race. *(See below regarding camping & addtl fees)
- A custom race bib with your fave motto on it, race shirt with participants listed on back (shipped after race),a race sticker, and custom-made wood DNF medal.
- A custom shovel award to the last standing.
- Aid station food, water, electrolytes by Tailwind Nutrition in covered pavilion area.
- And, most importantly fun and great people.
*Registration comes with a day use pass/parking pass for raceday, 3/29/25. This is for one vehicle only, registered participants vehicle. If crew members come in separate vehicle, they must pay for their entrance into park or participant may buy a day pass for 1 additional crew member vehicle during registration. If you decide to camp the night before event, 3/28/25, you will be responsible for that fee at time of arrival. Full hook-up sites at park are available near group use area/starting. Please visit Nevada State Parks reservation system if you would like full-hookups. There will be plenty of room for dry camping in group use area starting area, again be sure to pay your dry camping fees at pay stations. If driving in the morning of race, no need to pay day use/parking fee. Race Director will give registered participants a printed race event / state park paper to place in your vehicle on dashboard.

AMENDITIES: Group use area that race will be held has restrooms, showers, water, and plenty of room for dry/tent camping. Two covered pavilions, with picnic tables one for timing and aid station, and the other for runners to charge devices, eat, relax. The pavilions will also have power outlets for charging of your phones/watches.
COURSES: There will be two courses for this race; a daytime course, 25% pavement/ 75% trail with approx. 295 ft elevation gain. Nighttime course is 95% pavement/ approx 5% dirt road with approx. 117 ft elevation gain.
Daytime loop will start at 8am on 3/29/25 and run through 6pm lap/loop. Nighttime loop will start at 6pm and run through night 3/30/25, 6am lap/loop. Next morning daytime lap will start at 7am. If race is still going then nighttime loop starts at 6pm again and so forth.
