Event notes
This is the start of an annual event that is hosted by PVAMU Army ROTC in order to raise funds and awareness for the ROTC program at PVAMU and the Army in general. The distances that we will have are a 1k kids run, a 5k run, and a 10k run.

This particular event is dedicated to the various national Army ROTC programs that have been producing officers for the past 100 years. You can expect to hear from current enlisted officers that have been around and associated with ROTC life and hear from current cadets who are aiming to becoming officers though this program. If you would like more information about the national Army ROTC program click HERE. We will also be having a commemorative cake to celebrate the 100 year anniversary of ROTC programs nation wide.

AWARDS


-Everyone will receive a finishers medal
-First place finishers for each distance will receive a trophy

NOTES


-Only high school JROTC programs can register as a team for the 5K team and must have 5 total cadets with at least one of those cadets being female
-High school JROTC programs be sure your whole team is wearing the same school shirt

Timeline


-730 (7:30am): Check In Opens
-815 (8:15am): Opening Ceremonies/Remarks
-830 (8:30am): 10K & 5K Start
-945 (9:45am): 1K Start
-1015 (10:15am): Closing Remarks/Closing Ceremony
