Race notes
Well what another good turn out with 23 paddlers taking part again this week which included 8 new paddlers, Pam, Jill, Jeanette, Tim, Jeff, Sam, Leia, Lucas & Samuel (Brendan’s daughter and 2 sons). Will we see them next week?

We missed Izzy who came off her mountain bike on Sunday and crushed her knee. It’s not the same without you Izzy. Get well as quick as you can.

We have a few paddlers with injuries and medical issues so their times were slower than normal.

It looks as if Sharon has beat her best time. Kate beat her last weeks time by over 2 minutes so did Marie. Jane, Julie, Kai, Ash, Sarah, Margie all beat their last week’s time.

For those people who can make this Sunday the 19th we will have a training session at 9.00am.

Video Technique and racing.

We can’t do it the following Sunday as it is Australia Day.

Stroke and Skills training this Thursday at 5.00pm.

Tonight I presented Leia with an Epic Paddle. Her two brothers had Epic paddles so now she has a good lightweight paddle. I have and still sponsor paddles and boats to junior paddlers to encourage them to enjoy paddling.
