Most competitive race I've ever been in!
I knew I had better exit speed on the final turn of each lap. Planned to make my move on Kenton in this final turn but Rick was so close behind that I had no room to move to the side to pass. So final straight, all out sprint, I was beside Kenton less than 1/2 of a board length behind on his right. Seen Rick close behind, to my left, so changed my line to close him off.

Race report

I missed 10 hours of sleep over the 4 days leading up to the race, due to travelling.
My body felt great for the entire race, but for the last 5km my brain started to turn off due to lack of sleep.
Got passed by Marwin with 2km left.
Would have come at least 2nd if I had the correct amount of sleep.

My First Ever Race Win!!!

Race report

Super proud to have achieved bucket list my goal of skating over 250 miles in 24 hours.
Could have won my first 24hr Ultra but I got taken off the track with 3 hours left to skate.
I was 0.1mph off 300 mile pace, so that's next on my list now.
