Methow Valley Nordic Ski Educational Foundation

Methow Valley Nordic Ski Education Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to teaching and promoting cross-country skiing to people of all ages. We organize a number of annual races: Race of the Methow, a weekend of Sprint and Distance racing that serves as a Junior Nationals Qualifier and is sanctioned by US Skiing; the Ski Rodeo, a freestyle, mass-start race; the Chasing the Sun biathlon race; Hanz's Big Adventure, a trials-format race especially for kids; and a Summer Biathlon Race with both Running and Mountain Biking heats. We co-organize the Ski to the Sun marathon and relay with Methow Trails. We also organize several informal time trials through the season, and many non-racing events, including the Sun Mountain XC Camp, Tour of the Methow, Members Clinic, two Try Biathlon days, and a half-dozen weekly classes for adults.
