2018 Hoa Toa NZ Paddle Championships

Welcome to the Sol Republic, Olukai and Maui Jim sponsored Hoe Toa NZ Paddle Championships, proudly presented by Magrette Timepieces, a festival weekend of stand up and prone paddleboarding workshops, beach races in and out of the surf, inshore flatwater racing and downwind distance paddling, brought to you by NZSUP and the NZ Paddlers Association.

The order of racing will be finalized at 8pm on Friday 23 March, so as to maximize the weather conditions for both days, so the format below is subject to change.

Hoe Toa Technical Day (Saturday 24 March)
 Hoe Toa 2.5km Junior/Novice Surf Race
 Hoe Toa Open Mens and Womens Surf Races (Heats to Finals)
 Hoe Toa Prone Surf Race
 Hoe Ngahau 1km Kids/Novice Flatwater Race

Magrette Distance Day (Sunday 25 March)
Hoe Tawhiti 16-20km Distance Race 
Hoe Poto 8-10km SUP & Prone Distance Race
 Hoe Marino 5km Flatwater Race 
Hoe Marino 2.5km Flatwater Race
