Kaua'i Iki Race

Kaua'i Iki Race---Saturday, May 11th

Course:

• 20 Mile Relay or Solo OC1, OC2, V1, Surfski, Prone and SUP 
• Relay Course 1st Leg: Kalapaki to Poipu

                            2nd Leg: Poipu to Port Allen (partner exchange at buoy stationed at Poipu Beach). 

• Solo Course Kalapaki straight to Port Allen
• V1 and Short Course Poipu to Port Allen

Race Fees and Registration

• Friday, May 10th 5 PM-7 PM: Race payment and packet pick-up at Napali Brewing Company in Wailua

                                 6 PM: Safety briefing

• Register online 
• Race fees $50 per person, includes race jersey 
• 18 and under are free

Race Day Schedule

• 10 AM: First start - Wahine OC-1/OC-2 Relay and Solo, Na Opio Relay and Solo, Mix OC-1 Relay
• 10:30 AM: Second Start - Kane OC-1/OC-2 Relay and Solo, Mix OC-2 Relay and Solo
• 11 AM: V1 and Short Course OC-1 Start - All Categories
• 1 PM: Awards, Lunch, Party!

Safety

Each paddler/canoe must have with them (mandatory):

• spare paddle
• leash
• high-vis apparel

We encourage competitors to wear the race jersey. All vessels could be inspected by race officials. Highly recommended would be one or all of these: a cellphone or cell-connected Apple Watch, PFD, VHF marine radio, whistle, compact air horn, etc.
